Kenyan safari, part one: TSAVO EAST
africa · 31. August 2021
My recent Kenya safari started with two nights in Tsavo East National Park, giving me time for two half-day and one full-day game drive. Tsavo East is one of the oldest parks in Kenya (open since 1948) and also one of the largest. Its semi-arid plains are the ideal habitat for ‘red’ elephant, cape buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah, hippo, crocodile, kudu, gerenuk, oryx and about 500 recorded bird species.
